Back from a busy, bustling holiday with the friends and family in Seattle. I tend to feel really detached during the holidays and I think it's because I'm just a tourist in everyone's holiday traditions. Next year it might be time to start some traditions of our own. Get a fake tree, start collecting ornaments etc.
January is my month of creation. I've been challenged to create a new piece of jewelry each week starting January 6th. Eeek!
I've also really wanted to do a 365 days of making something but January is always hard to get started due to flying home etc. So I think I'm going to start that in February.
The shop is back to normal. Everything is made to order with a 5-7 business day turn around plus shipping time.
I'm going to get those brass necklaces up too I swear. They really look great and I want to share them with you.
My New Year's Resolution:
1. Stop Being Scared.
2. Have More Fun
oh P.S. These are some pictures I took at Rattlesnake Lake in North Bend aka Twin Peaks Washington on a excursion with my BF's folks on New Year's Eve. It's amazing how much I took for granted living in the Pacific NorthWest. Mostly because I'm allergic to most of it but I have figured out the key to win my battle with nature is to visit it in the colder months when most things are dead.
